IBPS CLERK 2018 SYLLABUS AND PATTERN

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has recently released the Notification of CWE – VIII Clerk Examination 2018. This time IBPS is Recruiting the candidates for a total of 7275 vacancies. Online Application process has already been started and it will go till 10th October 2018. So, candidates are advised to fill the form as early as possible to avoid the last minute congestion.We are providing the syllabus and pattern of the exam so that the candidates can get all information and help their process of learning and preparation.

According to the Notification Preliminary Exam is to be held on four different days i.e. 8th,9th, 15th & 16th December 2018 and the Mains Exam is Scheduled on 20th January 2019. IBPS will declare the final result on 1st April 2019. For more details candidates can read the Official Notification.

IBPS clerk exam is conducted in two phase :

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination

PATTERN :

1.  PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION :

  • ENGLISH LANGUAGE : 30 Marks – 30 Questions – 20 Minutes
  • NUMERICAL ABILITY : 35 Marks – 35 Questions – 20 Minutes
  • REASONING ABILITY : 35 Marks – 35 Questions – 20 Minutes

2. MAINS EXAMINATION :

  • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude – 50 Questions – 60 Marks – 45 Minutes
  • English Language – 40 Questions – 40 Marks – 35 Minutes
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Questions –  50 Marks – 45 Minutes
  • General Awareness –  50 Questions – 50 Marks – 35 Minutes
